We wanted to share some of what’s been going on with the next big update. Things are moving along really well so far, and there are plenty spoilers for the final version ahead.

• Chapter 1 got a full makeover. Reiner and Denver’s dynamic feels better, the escape from Horingar isn’t rushed anymore, and the mysterious house is now part of the main story instead of the Main Gate route.

 • There’s a new scene in Chapter 1 since you stay in the castle longer, and the dialogue has been expanded.

 • Reiner has more facial expressions now. 

 • Siri’s art has received a small visual update. 

 • Slight improvements were made to Ishak and Isidorious’ facial expressions. 

 • Laura’s character art was updated, she appears in Chapter 1, and she now has a sprite as well. 

 • Lamar and V the Goblin now have character art. 

 • Dr. Rose and Realin have character art. 

 • New cards were added for Hell, Zera, Selena, Dr. Rose, and Farah. 

 • The relationship book now shows 4 cards per page instead of 3. 

 • Corruption has been removed since it was barely used. 

 • Small loot-system tweak: items you pick up now show on the side of the screen. 

 • Easy Mode’s “God Cube” has been tested on every puzzle path and works perfectly. 

 • Easy Mode gear has been bumped up to around level-25 strength, and Reiner’s party now starts at level 10. 

 • Stealth route God Cube is still being worked on; looking for a better way to make them easier without teleporting players across the map. 

 • A bunch of new tilesets were added. 

 • New music tracks were added.
